What counts as a call?
A call counts when a real caller engages with Ringbridge and has a conversation handled by the service. Obvious spam, robocalls, immediate hang-ups and failed connections don't count. Ringbridge support and test calls are excluded where appropriate.
What happens if I go over my allowance?
Ringbridge keeps answering. Additional customer calls are £1.50 each, so a busy month doesn't suddenly leave your phone uncovered. Prices exclude VAT where applicable.
Do spam calls count?
No. Obvious spam and robocalls do not count towards your customer-call allowance.
Can I keep my existing phone number?
Yes. Calls can divert from your existing number to Ringbridge when you are busy, after hours or always. We check the divert options with your phone setup and test the routing before you switch it on for customers.
Can Ringbridge answer only when I don't?
Yes. Ringbridge can be configured for full-time answering, overflow or out-of-hours coverage. We check the routing with your phone setup before you go live.
Does it work out of hours?
Yes, where configured. You can set different rules for evenings, weekends and bank holidays, such as only alerting the on-call engineer for genuine emergencies and booking everything else for the next working day.
Can it make bookings?
Yes, where your diary or booking system is connected and you have told it what may be booked. You decide which job types can go straight into the diary, which slots can be offered, and which enquiries should become a callback instead.
Can it give prices?
Only the prices you have explicitly defined, such as a fixed call-out fee or a standard service price, and only in the situations you allow. Anything that needs judgement is passed to a person. Ringbridge does not estimate or guess.
What happens if it does not understand the caller?
It asks again, plainly. If something is still unclear or falls outside your agreed rules, Ringbridge can take a message, create a callback or hand the call over where configured. We agree what the caller should be told and who receives the details before the service goes live.
Can it transfer calls to a person?
Yes, where configured. You choose which calls should be put through, to whom and at what times. If nobody picks up, Ringbridge takes the details and creates a callback rather than leaving the caller stranded.
Is setup included?
Yes. We set Ringbridge up around your services, opening hours, coverage, prices, booking rules and the information you need from callers.
Is there a contract?
Ringbridge has an initial three-month term because we configure and tune the service around your business. After that, it continues monthly.
Can I change plan?
Yes. If your call volume changes, we can move you to the plan that makes most sense. Talk to us about the change and when it will take effect.
What happens if my call volume changes?
Start with the plan closest to your normal volume. We'll tell you if another plan would work out cheaper. If you expect more than 400 customer calls a month, talk to us about pricing around your actual volume and setup.
Can Ringbridge integrate with my existing software?
Standard calendar and booking connections are included where supported. We confirm compatibility and scope before you commit. More complex or bespoke integrations are quoted before we do any work.
