Ringbridge

Privacy notice.

This notice covers this website. It explains what we collect when you visit or get in touch, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Ringbridge provides call handling and booking for service businesses. For anything in this notice, contact us at hello@ringbridge.co.uk.

What we collect, and why

We only collect personal information you choose to give us through the contact form or by email:

  • Your name, business name, email address and phone number, so we can reply to you.
  • Your type of business, rough call volume and any message you write, so the reply is useful.

How we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry and to talk to you about Ringbridge. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in a form.

Who handles it for us

The website is hosted by a cloud hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. Enquiries are delivered to us through an email delivery provider. Both act on our instructions and only process the information to provide their service.

Usage measurement

We record simple, anonymous events, such as whether a sample call was played, to understand which parts of the site are useful. These events never include the contents of the contact form. See the cookies page for detail.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in conversation with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Ask us at any time and we will delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to or restrict how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Calls handled for our customers

When Ringbridge answers calls on behalf of a business, that business decides what is collected and why, and we process call information on its instructions. If you spoke to Ringbridge while calling a business, that business’s own privacy notice applies and it is the right first point of contact.
